The New and Upgraded Frostcovered City!

This is a preview for the upcoming content update, none of the following changes are currently live.

NEW AND INCREASED REWARDS

No one would choose to face a challenging Boss if the rewards aren't worth it. Frostcovered City was originally designed to help LV 85-95 Players level-up, so we've taken the liberty of adjusting the EXP rewards to reflect that purpose. Additionally, the drops within Frostcovered City have been adjusted to be more gear oriented, rather than materials or components.

NEW TASKS, NEW EXPERIENCE

Venture into the newly revamped Frostcovered City and reawaken the power within! These Instance Quests not only contain a great amount of EXP and Spirit bonuses, but there are even golden accessories to be acquired. Now you have a really good reason to make sure that the bosses die swiftly!



Main Quest: Wind and Snow
Starting NPC: Elder of the Streams
Reward: Coins 100000, EXP 200000, Spirit 40000, Reputation 20.

Side Quests:
1) Ruthless Ones
After completing the main quest "Hellraiser", get it from the Frost Recluse.
Goal: Kill 5 Frostshadow Assassin, 5 Iceshadow Assassin, and 5 Snowshadow Assassin.
Reward: Coins 70000, EXP 90000, Spirit 18000

2) Soul Salvation
After completing the main quest "Hellraiser", get it from the Frost Adventurer.
Goal: Gather 9 Adventurer's Souls from Frost Bishop inside the instance.
Reward: Coins 70000, EXP 90000, Spirit 18000

3) Revived Murderers
After completing the main quest "Hellraiser", get it from the Frost Adventurer.
Goal: Kill the 2 Bosses Dreadindra and Asoteric Runewolf.
Reward: Coins 80000, EXP 100000, Spirit 20000

Repeatable Quests:
1) Reinforce Frostcovered City
Get at the Entrance of the Instance
Goal: Kill the Frost Jail Boss Cyclotra Styren
Reward: Item Faithfulness x1

2) Wraith Exorcism
Get it in the Frozen Hall.
Goal: Kill more than 1 Running Wraith
Reward: EXP 1000 and Spirit 200 for each Running Wraith you kill and 1 Faithfulness for the quest.

3) Sincerity
Talk to the Frost Lord with the two items “Sincerity” and “Faithfulness”
Reward: Chest of Faith This Chest contains: Scarlet Fruit, Mirage Celestone, Auspicious Ring: Order, Unicorn Spirit Ring: Order (P.S. The last two are yellow gears)

4) The Origin of Iring
After beating the Messenger of Fear, the NPC Iring will spawn. Talk to it, and you will be teleported to the next stage of the Instance. This is to save you time in transit, so no reward is attached to this quest.



NEW MATERIAL EXCHANGE

The Frostcovered City is famous for its spectacular material drops. You will get a lot of rare materials after a series of fierce fights, and you can exchange those materials for items which can be used to get quests or EXP & Spirit bonuses. After this upgrade, you can still gain benefits in this way, and you can get some of those materials by decomposing instance gears too.

Exchange from: King of Kung Fu Exchange with: All materials acquired from the old Frostcovered City, and the new materials received from decomposing new Frostcovered City gears.
Exchange for: Token of Blessing or Token of Wealth

Use these Items to get Quests:
1. Blessing from the Heaven: Hand the Token of Blessing you have to the King of Kung Fu
Reward: EXP 4000 & Spirit 1000 for each Token of Blessing you have. (Finishing this quest will consume all the Tokens of Blessing you have.)

2. Wealth from the Heaven: Hand the Token of Wealth you have to the King of Kung Fu
Reward: Coins 1000 for each Token of Wealth you have. (Finishing this quest will consume all the Tokens of Wealth you have.)
